Wow. They say its a violent one. Didn´t expect this. I´m kind of dissapointed about Millenium Entertainment because they swore we would soon see the Trailer, they even promised it. but that now a month ago , (also the deleted the official twiter and facebook page.) =( I dont know if that´s true but on imdb it says that its coming to the netherlands on september 1. that would mean two weeks! does anyone know if that´s true? pretty weird that there no premiere´s or something even season of the witch had one.

Dear me, I am so confused now. confuse I am not even sure if I want to see it, I hate those kind of movies usually. Or, at least I think I do, based on what the people who saw it say. And as I read this, I remembered an interview with Nicole Kidman from while she was filming where she talked about how the filming really took a toll on her emotionally, because of the subject matter, I guess. Not sure if it ever got posted here or not.

I must admit that I am confused about the whole promotion and opening, and how can it be that all of a sudden there has been an advanced viewing?

Lady Trueheart, we have the interview here somewhere here, where both Nicole Kidman and Nic talk about their experience of working on the movie just after they wrapped in Shreveport. I have no doubt that this will be an intense movie experience, but that draws me to it all the more. last time Nic and Schumacher worked together on 8MM the subject matter was heavy weight and grim, and the outcome was pretty dark but also utterly awesome. 8MM is one of Nic's most underrated performances and films and I so can't wait to see this one!!! bouncy

Glad this film is getting a positive response and I hope it bodes well for it to have a prolonged stay at the cinemas. I agree with Lula and it is well documented here, that 8mm is in my top 5 Nicolas Cage films. I am actually waiting for the unrated directors cut with extra footage. Shumacher stated that the film (8mm) was originally over 3 hrs long. The commentary on the dvd is dynamic. CLC

I actually should start an online petition about an 8mm Directors Cut since the subject matter was not taken well by viewers. 8mm is more a horror film in my view. I know it is off subject, but the commentary for Vampire's Kiss featuring Nic himself, is a fascinating watch. It is the only film Nic has done commentary for since he holds Vampire's Kiss closest to his heart. Can't wait for Tresspass or Seeking Justice.

This movie is surrounded by mystery...I wonder why they had to delete their account and then put it back up again?

The movie sounds very interesting and intriguing to me,judging by 8mm Joel Schumacher is a master of making deep,intense and dark films.Would be great to see it in theaters ...I seriously doubt I will be able to do so after all though, as it comes out straight to DVD?
