"For its part, "Medallion" is a very modern thriller, starring Cage as a double-crossed bank robber who must go on a life-or-death mission through the streets of New Orleans on Fat Tuesday. West is hoping to have post-production completed in time for an early summer 2012 release."
Yes, it really does! I would like to see Nic in more period pieces too!
2012 is turning out to be a year to get very excited for, I am sure I will be on a come down after the Ghost Rider Spirit Of Vengeance high in February....this will be giving us something else to get or knickers in a twist ! lol!
*wonders in the meantime about Hungry Rabbit and Trespass*
I'm looking forward to checking out Medallion! Viewing all of the behind the scenes pictures, it's going to be great to see what the final masterpiece looks like!
Yes! with all the talk of Ghost Rider Spirit Of Vengeance, Trepass, Hungry Rabbit / Seeking Justice, Medallion has rather fallen to the wayside in our discussion! I a m looking forward to this Nic / Simon West recollaboration!
thanks for the link motion picture, I have merged 2 topics together!
Gina, if you type 'Medallion' into the search box at the top of the forum you will see a ton of results including video and on set photos!
I wonder why they will realese it so late. they could prbably do it in 2- 3months but i guess it will take a year or something. the only reasons seems to be that there are 3 more nic movies between medallion

It always seems to be about a year after filming finishes before a film is released, Floderstarke. I have often wondered why myself. I suppose there are all kinds of things we mere mortals don't know about that are involved in getting a movie ready for the theatre! And I think there are strategy things they think about too, like if a lot of the same type are being released at one time. At any rate, I am happy to have lots of movies to look forward to.
You are correct Lady T! It usually takes about a year to shoot, edit, produce and distribute a movie - or at least, that's what the tour guide said on the Universal Studios Tour I took earlier this year - LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's obvious Mr. West is shooting for the coveted summer box office dollars! That would be awesome to see Nic during the summer blockbuster, boxoffice months!!!!
