Nicolas Cage has been involved in several projects and charities

making many generous donations over the years.

As a Brand Ambassador for Montblanc since 2006,

he recently attended the opening ceremony of a new

Montblanc store at Guangzhou’s Taikoo Hui in China.

Montblanc has an  interest in supporting

“the arts and culture, as well as the global promotion of philanthropy”  

a philosophy supported by Cage, who was the major player in their 2006 camaign:

"Helping others gives success true meaning."   

Nicolas Cage donated his fee for the campaign

to the Californian project "Heal the Bay" together with a donation by Montblanc.

and developed the "Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award", 

which since 1992 has been honouring every year outstanding patrons of the Arts; 

the partnership with the "Philharmonia Of Nations" 

with young musicians from more than 40 countries; 

the "Montblanc Young Directors' Project", 

which is part of the Salzburg Festival 

and is a competition for young international theatre directors; 

and the "Young Artist World Patronage Programme", 

which is dedicated to supporting talented young contemporary artists 

on a worldwide basis.
