The Nicolas Cage January Jones thriller Hungry Rabbit Jumps first hopped into our awareness over 2 years ago, with pictures of Nic's then named character Nick Gerard jogging against a foreboding grey sky.
Soon after, the Hungry rabbit seemed to become very jumpy and disappeared underground, into hybernation in some far away burrow, for a long... long.... long..... time.
By then us Hungry fans were beginning to wonder what had happened to this mysterious creature, until news reached our ears of it being spotted again, in the form of a trailer, in Italy! When the Hungry Rabbit finally emerged, it came back on a mission (or appeared to have had an identity crisis along with it's major character) for now it was Seeking Justice and Nic Cage's character Nick Gerard was now Will Gerard. Adjusting our compass, we trekked high and low for news, as various versions of our now morphed mysterious friend began to pop up everywhere, in the form of different movie stills and posters.
Until atl ast, atleast for UK fans, it appears Justice will finally be served.
We may never know where The Hungry Rabbit Jumped, but as long as we get to see our favourite actor in what is promising to be a great movie, it will have been well worth the wait!
Justice opens in cinemas across the uk and Ireland 18 November.
I actually think it was a good move to change the name. If the movie content makes no reference to anything relating to a "hungry rabbit jumps", it would have somewhat been ineffective.
I mean, even though some may find the current movie title "ordinary", I definitely think it speaks more to the movie concept, therefore making it appealing to movie masses.
Aw, cheers Lady T!! at the very least the mysteriousness surroundng this movie has given us all a huge appetite! I hope it makes it's way to all corners of the world!
I have the feeling that we have to expect the same for medallion too. the day were the post production began is far away, and you hear absolutely nothing about it.
