A UNIQUE AWARD FOR A UNIQUE ACTOR: MR MAVERICK CAGE

On October 15th at the 2011 SCREAM Awards, a unique actor received a unique award.

Nicolas Cage entered the stage to a standing ovation has he was presented by Quentin Tarantino with The Maverick Award in recognition of his

“fearless and intriguing body of work. Appearing in over 60 films, Cage has blazed his way through Hollywood and created some of the most memorable, eccentric and indelible roles.”

Nicolas Cage has received many film and lifetime achievement awards over his outstanding and enduring film career, but perhaps for an actor and a true artist who has unwaveringly and endlessly brought some of the most unforgettable, unique, magnetic characters to life with some of the most radical, unapologetic, non conformist acting in cinematic history, none is more appropriate, and no actor is more deserving.

Congratulations go to Nicolas Cage from Cagealot Castle on this well deserved honor, as he continues to be the most magical Maverick man in the infinite acting universe!
