Again, I am not used to the accolades that this board has been showering me with...

Like I said before.....everyone else wanted to be in a movie..

 

All I wanted, was to introduce some music....and be a little *different*.....

I guess the initial trailer release was NOT Lionsgate's idea...hence the "recall" or "pulling" of the "official trailer" PLUS anyone ( myself included) who was "infringing" on the copyright.

Youtube, yanked the trailer and acted like I was the "BAD GUY" in all of this. I have a "strike" against my account.

 

Youtube offered me $$$$$ for a video deal, as far as the trailer was concerned.

 

I said "No" because "Amber Entertainment" logo was NOT mine to "sell".

 

But Youtube "penalized" me anyways, when they pulled my trailer, under Lionsgate "pressure".

 

Can you imagine how much Youtube would have to say "I'm Sorry" after all of this time, IF I had accepted?

 

Everyone ELSE was asked to remove ANY trailers of "The Frozen Ground" and they did...

 

Youtube threw ME "under the bus".... and I still don't know how I am going to deal with that action.....

 

As of NOW, I am NOT a BIG FAN of Youtube....

They say/offer ONE thing and THEN change their Story......just to cover their *ass*

Well done skyy and thank you for re-posting your wondeful fan made trailer  

I find it very hard to fathom why it was removed in the first place (don't blame youtube they are responding to copyright claims) as it contains no images or clips from the movie, states clearly that it is unoffical and is frankly brilliant! it filled a gap when there was much anticipation for the movie and did so in  away that did not infringe upon the film company or the film! I wonder if they will be stringent with all the actual illegal uploads of their actual trailer and those who have actually ripped off clips when it comes out? !! maybe they should focus their attentions there, instead of the utterly legal creative projects of fans which promote their film for free!!

You certainly can give your opinion about the music at any time skyy38, no need to wait for us to respond. I like it, it seems appropriately dark and suspenseful. It gives a feeling of coldness too, or maybe I m being fanciful. I think it really will set the tone for the movie.

Well finally got a DVD copy of TFG for only 5 bucks at my local Walmart! Check out your local Walmart-you might be able to get the same deal! I'm going to sit down and watch it on Friday.

 THAT is what I've always tried to do.

To use music as the narrative, in the same way, that one of my heroes did in STAR WARS.

Tell the story with music, so that you could follow it, even without the movie!

If I scared you, or made you wonder about the movie to come, with my music, then I did my job!

And ALL of you at Cagelotcastle remind me forever, that I got something *right*!
