Have a mentioned that I saw this movie recently for the first time. I always had this idea that I had seen it years ago but once I started watching it I realized I hadn't. Probably got it confused with Back to the Future, lol! Anyway, I absolutely loved it, I think it is a brilliant movie and I loved all the performances, especially Nic's, of course. He was major sexy and so sweet and endearing to me. I even liked his Gumby voice! The scene in the basement with Charlie and Peggy Sue was really moving, I thought he gave an incredible performance. And I don't think anyone has ever mentioned here before that he sang twice in the movie, that was a surprise to me. The second song was great. I can't find a clip of it though.

There really are some moving moments in this moive, and some Charile tenderness that often gets overlooked with the mega focus on Nic's adoption of the his pookie voice and the Charlie goofiness...but we Nic mega fans know that he is never a one trick pony in any film...the glorious Cage multi layer cake is here for the tasting for those of us with a NICtastically refined pallette!!!
LOL. Cagiest moments, indeed! He looked really NICe in that movie! Although, his voice was a little bit strange there. But, he did it on purpose, because, most young men in their highschoolyears, are talking kind of like that. Thank you for posting it, Lady T. :)
