haha that's a great description of how he looks, Lula! He's so long-limbed and scrappy! He's out-of-control in his life and in the way he looks!
and it's adorable... it's kind of a realism amongst the chaos and the unrealism of the tone..(because it is so comedic and almost comic book like?) if that makes sense
I really like how non-judgemental the film is... characters such sort of slip into doing the wrong thing. Makes me think of Richard Pryor's quote: "It’s hard enough being a human being… just to walk through life decent as a person."
I recall an interview or quote somewhere where Nic talked about how he wanted to look taller and skinnier for the movie, so that is how he dressed and they shot it that way, he wanted a slap stick physical look to Hi.
@sprocket i like that, wonderfully put! I love the grey areas of the movie, and ow it turns morality on it's head in many ways, you end up sympathising with illegal acts, and how edwina and H.I end up on the same page but both were from differnet sides of the law
so after the long intro, we get into the main part of the film, with the scene where H.I climbs in the window, to take one of the Arizona quins.. edwina waiting in the car...what does everyone think of that scene?!

Thanks! Pryor had a difficult life for sure and wasn't always a good man, but you can see his earnest struggle in his stand-up and I really respect him for that!
&lady trueheart it is indeed the trush muffler it seems! Which gave me some really really weird search results on the blog for weeks afterwards!!
