THE SADHU - I have lamented the disappearance of this project since it was first rumoured in 2006. The Sadhu is a Liquid /virgin comicbook, ( with whom Nic and Weston made their comic book 'Voodoo Child' ) and Nic was mentioned as the lead in a potential film adaptation, a role which I have always been really excited about! Since that time, things went very quiet and sadly it looks like this project never really got off the ground.

Liquid have just launched 'Graphic India' a

" new digital platform to showcase young artists and writers while enhancing an evolving comic book culture in the country."

The site looks really cool!

and there you can read some of the comic book' The Sadhu'!

WOW! What an awesome website! Thank you for posting it, Lula. I am not really a comicbook-fan, but this site looks really great, and it would surely be incredNICble and fantastNIC, if that "The Sadhu"-project would be coming to life with Nic in it! :)

It truly is a digitl delight and you are welceom Lady Arwen! I do love the feel and energy of real books / comics in my hands and think that digitising them loses their 'soul' to some degree, but there is a place for both in my life. flowerface

the Sadhu would have been  NICxellent project, I would also obe excited for Nic to be working with Deepak Chopra who I also admire. But alas, this probaby will not come to pass as we have heard no more about it since 2006 ...BUT in terms of Nic bringing comic book 'heroes' to life, he will be unleashing the new Ghost Rider onto our screens very soon!!!!! flaming

I too, am not a comic-book fan, but I do enjoy the idea of it and the fact that us comic book fans get to enjoy those characters coming to life in live-action portrals like Ghost Rider.

I can certainly see a pairing with Deepak but maybe not in movie form, but maybe in book form... Sharing their life experiences through one another's journies through life...

Hmmmmm....
