And, if you want to talk about the romatNIC parts, Lady T., there a lots of them. :) But, almost every time, when he thinks, he can get a shot, he says something, that amazes Kate or, like in the "chocolate cake"-scene, he says something, stupid, Kate doesn`t want to hear from him, until, he gets it later after he takes her out on they anniversary.

Good, we are getting to the romance stuff, which I think is a big part of the movie. It is rich in it, isn't it? This scene, poor Nic, he had no clue what she wanted him to say! He had not lived in that kind of place for a long time where love figures into a sexual equation.
He starts to get it early on i think, when he pretends to be asleep. He seems to feel some qualms about taking what he wants when it is a disception of sorts.
LOL. Again, it was Nics idea with the "chocolate cake". Tea thought of a different one, like "cheese cake" for that scene, because, the chocolate would make stains, which would be harder to wipe out of the clothes.

lol! lady T, didnt that mean that he perceived (the film tries to show us, mistakenly) his needs were being met, not that he did not have any needs..? and then tried to show his needs were misplaced.. that his need were actually different and that was the whole point of the glimspe that he was given!
Sprocket, Nic commented once that noone wants to see a film about the Dalai Lama...your comment made me think of that

"i want tht cheescake" just wouldn't have the same ring to it though would it! it has to be chocolate, far more decadent, yummy, sexy and messy!!
Yes indeed, so many romantic scenes! The cake, the anniversary, the video, gulp, who can watch that scene without feeling totally lost in romantic fantasy!
And, let us not forget, the scene, where he sings to Kate! Thanks for reminding us on that romantNIC scene, Lady T.! :) I really love his singing voice there!

No real sex senes, but still a very sexy movie, Nic in bed in the 'All This Time' scene is very hot.
Well, the kind of man family Jack is portrayed as is very sexy! He cares, he shows his feelings, women like that in a man. Look at the face of the woman who tempted him ( forget her name) in the video while he sings to Kate, she is so in love with him and who would not be.
Oh what a scene...not only Jack singing La La La means I love you in the video, but the jack who is watching the video.... pivotal transitional moment..and as Lady Arwen said earlier, the emotion Nic portrays simply through gesture and facial expression alone...hands up who cried in that scene!!
Is that scene where he watched the birthday video where Nic realizes what his previous life was missing, or is it when he finds the airplane ticket and realizes he never left at all.
I agree with you about the moment when Jack pretends to fall asleep Lady T..these two scenes are very romantic..can't help but agree with Kate about the way he looks at her..wow...
