You are a wealth of information, Lady A! that is so interesting.
I wonder, is this a woman's movie, really? A fantasy of the kind of man we long for? Cause i haven't met too many men who say the things he says to kate!
I think it is an unusual movie for Brett Ratner, based on what I have read of his other films. I know he said he cried when he read the script, so i guess it appealed to his sensibilities too. It is funny when he tells how he got Nic to star in it too!
Interesting t see that again at this time Lady T, thanks for posting!
how did everyone else feel when first watching the film, when Jack is propelled back in this originl life? for me it was like the moment in 'The Wizard of Oz' when it went into technicolour, but in reverse!
LOL. That was an really interesting insight. Thanks for posting the link, Lady T. I never seen this vid before. But, I remember, that Brad mentions in the commentary, how he persuaded Nic with the suits and the car.

LOL. That`s a really interesting question, Lula. I don`t know, if I can remember, because, I have seen this movie a lot of times. But, I guess, it was different. It reminds really a little bit of Scrooge, when it comes to the part, where he is back in his "old" life, but still has the experiences of the glimpse. Although, he didn`t really know, if it was real or just a dream. And, that is, what he tells "New York"-Kate at the end at the airport-scene.

I am very sorry, I am going to have to go. But I really enjoyed discussing this movie here, it was a lot of fun!
Lula, Nic going back to his old life was so sad, I was depressed about it. I wanted him to stay with his family, or at least for the possibility to be there.
But I just will finish by saying that I really love the last scene, I use to feel it was the wong way to end the movie, but now I think it is perfect. Because it is played so well by them both, I guess, and it is hopeful.
