That is cool, Lula! I really got an impression of the intensity while they were filming and we saw all those pics and clips on line, and the trailer really makes you feel that, imagine what the film experience will do! Again, I love the fan boy attitude of the actors and directors for Nic, I am getting really excited to see his performance! Not too long now!

I agree, this bit really does bring the movie full circle in terms of the concept.  Now, after viewing this bit, I understand what the directors meant when they said Nic is playing both Johnny Blaze AND the Ghost Rider.  I didn't realize that the Ghost Rider in the first movie was played by a stunt double.

Really looking forward to this flick!

"Question: Can you talk about working with Nicolas Cage?  How many of his films have you seen before?

Fergus Riordan:  Well, I think before I had done this movie I had just seenGhost Rider and maybe one or two others.  Now, that I am actually working with him, I decided I wanted to know him a bit better.  So I have been watching a couple of his more recent films.

Oh, yeah?  Which ones?

Riordan:  I watched The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Season of the Witch.  I liked both of them.

What is he like in person?  He has a reputation of being a bit of an odd crazy guy.

Riordan:  Yeah.  He is a great guy and I like that he is not a normal guy.  I don’t like the term “normal.”  Normal means boring like everybody else.  Nic is a really, really nice guy and good to work with.  Recently, I’ve been really into mythology and stuff like that, and he’s very spiritual in a way.  He’s been doing stuff like The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Season of the Witch, which are both very magical.  So I really like that.

He loves mythology, comic books, and stuff like that.  Do you get to talk to him about that?

Riordan:  Yeah.  The other day he was recommending a couple of books about mythology to me.  Right now, I’m really into Greek Mythology."

"Nic mentions that he likes to have humor in everything that he does, and I heard that you guys were ad libbing a little bit, going off script at the beginning. Could you talk about that? Are you able to add a little bit more of your own humor or things like that in there?

Elba: Actually, no.

Elba: There’s not much ad libbing. Nic does a little bit, but his character is at liberty to do that. My character has a lot of stuff to say, a lot of stuff that’s pertinent to the story line, so I’m not ad libbing that much. But what’s comical about my character, he doesn’t care about much, he’s a little bit brash."

Placido: I loved that movie. I really loved it and I was very fascinated by his role, I was just a kid. But I really liked him there. Then, I don’t know what the other one is, The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call – New Orleans, I liked him there, Vampire’s Kiss. When he does these kind of crazy, quirky roles where he—I think he’s got a very unique way of delivering his roles. He puts a lot of wild creativeness in his characters, and I think he’s doing that in this movie, too. I’ve been in some scenes, because I’m not in all the scenes with him, but in some scenes I’ve seen wild stuff coming out. I mean obviously, having to do with the devil, he’s got complete freedom to go wherever he wants. I mean, there’s no limit to it really."
