Interesting !! when they say Nic told Empire, do they mean in the webchat?! and Lol, quite, Lady T!
I find it hard it hard to imagine Nicolas not engineering his look to create the character, I am really fond of fo all the different looks he has created over the years! in recent history, Balthazar, Behmen, Milton, all fabulous! he is such a master at it and can somehow embody any physical appearance, but his acting IS really what brings the character to life!
Thank you for posting Lady R!
p.s i guess this means that we wil never get the shaved tattooed head look! *sobs*
We know, that Nic liked to experiment with his looks or his hair in the past. In this article, that I thought could be interesting, he says, that he is happy with his looks. Check it out:
I have howled with laughter when that title leaped into my eyes that's a good read but am intrigued to know which hairstyle he will take in Con Air 2 thanks for sharing Lady R
I guess, he means, when he is not on set, Lula. Because, for certain roles, it`s necessary, to change the look, to really create that particular character on screen.
lol At least not, off screen, I suppose. But, who knows, which characters he chooses in the future?

oh! I think it is ambiguous Lady R, I thought he was talking about his characters, because he refers to Cameron Poe! I have always thought his looks off set only really change when he has had to change for a role (like longer hair when shooting Bangkok Dangerous, moustache when shooting World Trad Center and blonde hair when filming Drive Angry)
I think, that was just an example, how he changed his looks for a character. And, that was, I think, in that case, his real hair, and not a wig, like in SA or SOTW. But, I know, what you mean. :)

Maybe Empire also interviewed Nic for their magazine, as well as having the online chat?! In any case this blurb is from an Indian publication and may have been a bit changed in translation. I think Nic would always be open to changing his look for a role, from things he has said in other interviews.
I thought he was talking about the changing hair styles of his character as well.
Because, if it's true, and Nic did say he won't be changing his hair styles anymore, I would say, that's evident based on his latest movies: Stolen, Trespass, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Seeking Justice, etc.
Oh well at one side I am happy for that that he is happy with his current look! On the other side sad he won't experiment anymore becouse I liked that, but as long as he is happy that's great :)
