i agree wth you Reggie, the Spirit Of Vengeance transformations are really scary, but very very cool!
You are right Meg, I guess The Wicker Man is a horror movie! and I guess Season of the Witch too in it' way, but they both have other flavours too for me... and not in the extreme, and 'horror' has so many different interpretiations, I cannot imagine Nic in a slasher horror and would not want to see him in one either, but an all out horror movie would be intersting..as you say the japanese Ringu version of The Wicker Man was mooted albeit jokingly and not forgetting the rumoured Hammer film The Quiet Ones (which I think I have mentioned enough times not to bore everyone to tears with again) but i really would love to see Nic in a movie of the great British Hammer Horror tradition. it is a shame that the Roger Corman movie never came about for Nic..
I don't watch slashers myself, has Nic ever expressed an opinion about them, I wonder? I really don't think of SOTW as horror, but I suppose it is. I don't give up hope for the Roger Corman collaboration, I know they couldn't get the funding at that time but there is still always a chance! And Corman was used to working on a tight budget too.
How about a classic ghost story, I would enjoy that with Nic.

I think SOTW isn't that much horror. It simply implies something to the audience that not all possessions are connected to being a witch of a person. =) In fact, you can learn a lesson there too!! I love it! Don't forget to watch SOTW on Feb. 29 on Star Movies (yellow one). And if you are living in ASIA, better check this website: www.starmovieasia.tv for more schedules!! ^^
Indeed, perhaps Season Of The Witch is a supernatural thriller, but for me I think it has certain derfinite horror elements.
In recernt interviews, as we know Lady T, Nic has been talking much more about his penchant for the horror genre, mostly about old classic horrors brought to the screen by the wonderful Hammer House of Horror.
I think I recall him mentioning in interviews that he was not into slasher horrors so much, but don't quote me on that!
There have been many occasoins when Nic has expressed his admiraton for Lon Chaney, and Max Shrek.. and how his own performance as Peter Loew was a kind of homage to him in Nosferatu (personally I have always maintained that performance is very John Barrymore Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde but I digress) so one can only assume he has a love for the old classic horror the shadowy long fingered creepiness rather than the kind of gory scenes strung together in a plotless kind of way purely for the shock of it kind of horror (my interpretation)! but this is all conjecture and trying play detective on Nic's personal tastes, which is not my intention. I think also in part 1 of the Fangoria interview, Nic mentions more specifically his horror tastes?
Hmm..all this is giving me an idea for another video....
And what I would love to see Nic do is a pirate movie! I love it and Nic would be great in it! Also thinking of how he would look is cool, so that is something I would like to see :)

Everything I thought it would be...and more, you are very talented Lula, it's an ultimately dope & fab homage from a faithful fan by all standards i might have to say. Nic is indeed a cinema master, we pretty much know all the lyrics fits him so well. It simply got stuck in my head, and all the screen shots you chose were tremendously overwhelming, Nic is sexy beast in my lifethanks a lot for the heavenly treat Lula, keep up the good job going.
It is awesome, I just watched it again, it has so many of my favourite pictures and movie images in it too! I love that it is quirky too, song and video. There are lots of romantic ones out there (and they are great) but somehow I always love best the wyrd and quirky stuff about Nic. This tribute video kind of expresses that for me, so thanks again Lula, it is superb!
Just watched the tribute again, and read your awesome blog, Lula! Both are outstanding brilliant and awesome! You really are a true dedicated Super-fan of the most brilliant and most diverse artist of our times!
