More Wild At Heart deleted scenes to add to the others already posted in this section!
I have have never see the majority of these before, except one where Sailor is looking for work, am blown away and lost for words!
SAILOR!!!!!!!
(warning: WILD AT HEART has scenes that may offend, particularly the torture scene of which some deleted footage is shown here at around the 4 minute mark)
Wow, those certainly added to the feeling of some of those scenes, it is always interesting to think about how or whether it would have given the movie a different feeling if deleted scenes were left in. It gives a somewhat different feeling of Sailor for me, I think. I skipped the torture scene, I never want to see that part again, and any clips from it either. That is the weirdness of Lynch.
I really hope you get that set some day, Lula, I know you would really appreciate it.

I agree Lady Trueheart, my feeling is it would have undoubtedly changed the flavour of the film and the characters ... all the deleted scenes including the ones posted in other topics, show a different side to Sialor, a less coherent persona perhaps. with greater insecuriteis and a kind of tension and ambiguity within his and Lula's relationship that perhaps is not in the final cut of the film.
Don't you just love those scenes with Sailor's letter to Lula? and the ones at the end with Lula and Pace, he had a much bigger part!
Now we know where this classic Sailor image comes from!
I agree, Lula. And yes, I did enjoy the letter, reminded me of HI, with such precise diction. I have to admit, having only seen the movie once, that I didn't realize the scene that picture is from is not in the movie!
Yes, indeed, lots more great scenes with Lula. More nuances. Those are some awesome scenes, Diane Ladd was so good in that movie, what a performance she gave. I have always liked her since I saw her in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.
Wow, that's going back a bit Lady T Indeed, Diane Ladd is outstanding in Wild at Heart, think this is my fave performance of hers. I am very fond of Somethign Wicked This Way Comes, want she in that too? the real life mother and daughter connection with Laura Dern in WAH did add an extra frissant I felt. Wilhem Defoe puts in a deliciously evil perfomance too, creates a kind of conflicting tension with his character, compelling yet you want to look away from him and his disgusting ways.. no deleted scenes i have seen with him though. a

I agree...just...ugh....somehow cannot take your eyes off him though! For me Willem Defoe's stunning performance in the Nic produced Shadow Of The Vampire has perhaps left more af an indelible mark on me!
