Or, maybe Will Gerard is just like Nic? Who can really tell the truth or the difference on that, Lula? Unfortunatly, I have to wait until June, to see for myself!

Indeed! Actually, we know only his characters, what he shows us in his brilliant performances in his movies! But, maybe we could try to imagine it!bowsmileypinkp

I haven't seen that many movies where actual actors were being portrayed, Aviator comes to mind right now. But they were all legends by then. But I think the portrayal must go by the style surrounding their name. I think they are probably going to show Nic as someone eccentric and oddball like the popular image of him is. I think you can only know what an actor is really like by what they reveal in their interviews, and a lot of that is probably PR anyway. Has anyone ever seen a movie wherein a modern day actor is portrayed in his/her actual time? I can't think of any off hand.

Nothing comes to mind Lady Trueheart, from any period!  if you hadn't said Aviator for some reason the only film that remotely comes to mind is Nicolas Wnding Refn's 'Bronson' and that is not even remotely a biopic! or Sofia Coppola's 'Somewhere', which is not about any actor in particular. It is a curious question...there must be such a film!

By the way, did I read that the writers Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon did actually write the part with Nic in mind..?

The original article I posted does say the part was written with Nic in mind. Be interesting to see how they wrote him.
