man oh man it truly is! I mean I love the transformation in the first movie, but as promised this is coming at it in a completely different vibe..so you cannot really compare!!
I just love that deliciously ecstatic agony nic portrays...it is total escapist out there mega cool freakiness that just makes you feel like you have left it all behind.....you re flying out there with him
Got to say..this is ten times more heart leapingly hell yeah intense in 3-D !!
It is an epic scene, Lula! And you are right, the 3-D makes it even more so. Even though very different in style, I can see comparisions with the original GR movie transformation, or I thought I did in the theatre, anyway.
Man, that first part of the movie really gave me vertigo, the way it is filmed!
me too meg! can't believe i have not mentioned that before, really dizzy afterwards for a good few hours! i thought it was just because I am an over sensitive wuss in general, and I get vertogo alot (not heights, just vertigo) the way the camera moves through the whole film, so much movement, really such an experiential film on so many levels...
For me i guess the tone and flavour is so different that it is not easy to compare the 2 transformations, just love them both anyway
