Thanks for this new thread Lula, all these screen captures images look breathtaking. I cannot wait until getting something about its official release date for region 6.
it was so exciting to see these, the first new stills from the movie for some time...the first glimpse of the blu- ray...and our Johnny Blaze in crystal quality!
I loved seeing the film in 3D but have to admit there is a place in my life for seeing the film in Blu ray without the 3D...can't wait!!!
Oh WOW! None of these I had seen before, so cool, even more curious after it now ^^ Really awesome, and all so intense, he is very sweatent in the first one, I'm burning to see it
Yeah, the fifth one is the coolest, I keep looking at it, really cool!
Idris Elba's eyes look pretty cool but strange in the last one, like he is going trough some transformation as well!

I really hope you have the opportunity to see the film soon, eva!
Flo, that is one of our fave scenes isnt it?
There is much to be said for screen grabs like these, they may not be approved of by the film companies or creators, but they highlight, and promote, the awesomeness of the acting, the movie story and creativity itself and the camera work - ironicallly though a static shot dislaying the detail and artistry at every level. just my tuppence worth!
Now, I`m even more exited to see it myself, Lula! (Not, that I wasn`t exited enough before! ;)) Unfortunatly, it`s still a little less than 8 weeks till the german dvd-release! As I couldn`t see it in theaters, I`m waiting impatiently for the time to fly, so that I can watch it, finally, myself! And, till then, I truly enjoy every pic and movie-still!

Agreed Roxy, seeing that transformation scene in stills is really quite something...and even more thrilling in the movie itself. I did actually grin like an idiot and fist punch the air in the cinema in that scene if I recall, as since the first movie, I was extremely excited to see what they did with the transformation in this one ..and was not disappointed! both very different but both equally awesome and cool!
It would be really hard for me to choose which transformation scene I liked best, both spectacular in their own way, and each suited that style of movie and story line so well, I think. It is my favourite part of both movies.

I agree Lady T..... though in Spirit of Vengenace I have other favourite parts too..the first time we see the Ghost Rider (the sound, the movement) and the
Spoiler
exorcism scene
the tone, the grittiness, the grungey comicbookness and the horror of it!
