Hacking away on writing. Interesting note: There is a new movie theater in Kalamazoo, MI called the Alamo. Instead of just seats, there are tables for eating. The idea is to combine dinner and a movie under one roof!!! Inspired! Well on Valentine’s day they are showing MOONLIGHTING and they are serving a 4 course Italian dinner for the film! Is that cool or what?!

Wow! Sounds great and romantic! Will you go there next friday, to celebrate a special Valentine`s Day? Or, do you prefer to celebrate the old Lupercalia that day (if you don`t mind me asking?)? :)

IF I had a car, I'd be there. Not with a date...Feb 14th is Singles Awareness Day for me LOL. But I'd go to support Nick and to devour that 4 course italian dinner. I'd bring Alessio in my heart. LOL.
I just thought it was awesome cool the movie they chose for Valentines Day.

I agree, CajunSheWolf, it is cool! It is one of my favourite movies, I would love to see it in that setting too. I think dinner and a movie together sounds so nice, I would love to do that. And of course, Italian!
By the way, I totally missed your Christmas card till now, it is gorgeous, love it!
I agree with you, too, P.J.! That is a NICtastic and romantNIC idea! Speaking of "Al", currently I`m reading the second book for the second time, I`m almost finished with it, and I enjoy reading it again very much!
You can make yourself (with your dear husband, of course) a NICe and romantNIC evening, too, Lady T.! You could cook a romantNIC, italian dinner for you both and watch "Moonstruck"! At least, that is the movie, I plan on watching that evening! I think, that fits perfect for that day!

Thank you for the comp on the Christmas card (have a Magarelli Christmas) with my character Alessio and his beautiful lady DeDe! It was certainly fun drawing the world's tallest Santa's Elf and his lovely assistant.
Lady Roxanne knows what that means, the world's tallest...whatever Alessio is celebrating. He's the world's Tallest Easter Bunny in Epiphany.
Reading it through a 2nd time! Wow what a compliment Lady Roxanne.
I'm working away on #3 -- FATHOM. I'm afraid our Italian Tenor is in deep doo doo this time.

LOL. Yes, I know, what that means, and I know NICxatly where in the book that "scene" appears! And, this afternoon I almost got to finish it, but was disturbed! But, tomorrow, I will finish it, for sure! I love, how you describe the characters, the scenes, the great changes of scenes (from good times to the cruel "slasher" and visions- times)! You are, indeed, talented! Keep it up! O dear! Well, I`m sure, you come up with something, that puts him out of it, again! Looking forward, to read it, when it`s finished!

Not only did a theater in the area use a Nic movie to represent Valentine's Day (Moonstruck). But one of our local movie channels (ThIs TV) played It Could happen to You for Valentine's day. Go Nic!
I just got to see the Preview for Joe on IMDB. Looks wonderful. Now that the tax issue is taken care of Nic is being more careful about the roles he picks. Good for him.
I've drawn Alessio as he looks in the majority of Fathom. Not all pretty and manicured I assure you. He looks a little bit like a train wreck.

Moonstuck is such a perfect movie for that day, and, ICHTY is romantNIC, too! Did you watch both movies?
Al has a pretty sad look on that drawing! But, with all the weird and horrible visions and dreams he had in the first and second book, it`s totally understandable! Thanks, for drawing him, so that we could imagine him, when we read the book, when it, finally is finished and released!

The picture is of a man who doesn't know who he is. Through a trauma brought on by one of his captors, he's gone catatonic. His hair is stringy because it dried naturally after he came out of the lake... no blowdrying, no product, no comb. Alessio was left to die underwater in the museum. But you and I both know Tony won't let that happen. He's conscious and he's walking around after being held for a week but he's completely unaware of who he is. All he knows is he's being pulled in a certain direction. Yes...in this one he's the world's tallest homing pigeon.
In this story, this apparently homeless derelict runs into all kinds of people. Some help him, some hurt him. He's like a frightened wild lost thing. In this one we see jow tyhe love of his friends and family, and the kindness of total strangers get Alessio found and taken care of.
I did watch ICHTY, and although I couldn't get to kalamazoo (an hour from here) I watched Moonstruck here at home.

Happy that my movies that I ordered arrived safe and sound. The Croods, Astro Boy and G-force among them. I had never seen G-Force but had seen interviews where Nick talked about voicing the mole. I loved it. Loved the voice he used. Of course I saw The Croods in the theaters, but I loved it so much I've already watched it twice. TaaDaaaaaa!
I've been a bit under the weather, so Alessio is getting a reprieve while I get over the ailment du jour. We've been having some awful weather here.
I hope to be back on either INHERIT THE MOON or FATHOM tomorrow.

That`s great to hear! Yes, his voice of the mole is really funny!lol And, what a coNICcidence! Last night, I watched "the croods"! Watched it a few times now, since I have it, and I love it! Nic is so funny in it! I have to laugh every time, when he introduces his "inventions"! LOL.

Kill Circle!!!! All in all it's a very nice film. I'm sure you've seen the interviews where Nick said he was very proud of it. It does pull on the heart strings.
I do believe Al was looking over my shoulder this afternoon as I blocked out another scene. I'm sure I heard -- in a faint whimpery voice -- "Stand in..."
Sit down Mr. Singer. Singers don't have stand ins. Actors do. So sit your skinny but down and hush.
yes, back to writing.

LOL! It was a while, since I saw an interview with him about that, and it could be, that we have it here, somewhere, but, his voice acting as Grug is def uNIC, awesome and just hillarious! One of my fave scenes is the one towards the end, when he "invents" the hug ("rhimes with "Grug")! Sooo cute!
Well, as a writer, you have creatNIC freedom, and you could write it in the story, if it fits! But, however you write the scene and the story , it will be awesome, as always! And, I`m sure, Al will be pleased with it, too!
