A southern drama starring Nicolas Cage, which began production in early November, was filmed partly in Taylor, Granger and other neighboring towns.
According to Deby Lannen, Taylor Main Street Manager, the filming of “Joe,” which is based on the novel of the same title by Larry Brown, took place in Bartlett, Granger, Smithville and Taylor. The crew spent time last week at 4th, Talbot and Main streets in Taylor as well a home just north of Chandler Road.
