Good grief.........................I can hardly keep up! But this sounds like another very cool premise.
"I Am Wrath centers on a man who turns vigilante after he uncovers a thick plot of police corruption following the murder of his wife. He sets out to serve justice on his own and “destroy those who abuse their power.” It’s a premise in which Cage could really be set loose, and making things even sweeter is the fact that The French Connection and The Exorcist helmer William Friedkin is circling the director’s chair."
My pleasure, Flo and Lula! Indeed, Lula! With all the rumours about new movies, he is set for, it is really hard to keep up! It sounds a bit like SJ to me, so I hope, he will make that one!

I agree, eva! There are so much rumours out there about new movies, he is set to make! So, I guess, we just have to wait and see, if there are actual confirmations about, in which movies he will really star in!

There have been a lot of vigilante-style movie premises lately, it will be interesting to see how many of them are going to come about. I personally am not so fond of them, but Nic always brings something different to any movie genre he embraces. I just hope he is not setting out to become the next Charles Bronson, lol!
Usually, I don`t like this type of genre, too, Lady T., but it is really different, when Nic plays in it! As he, indeed, brings so much more to every role he plays, that even those movies are a must-see (at least, once)!^^ There are currently so many thriller-rumours out there, which are Nic is set for, that I get the impression, he is currently in his "thriller-phase"! I`m curious, if he will complete Frank or Francis one day, and start shooting on NT3! Hopefully, soon!

yes! this is turning into more than a 'Thriller Trilogy' ! But there were those who complained that he was doing too many supernatural movies and not enough thrillers, the same people are probably now complaining he is doing too many thrillers now! lol!
the thriller is a multifarious beast though and I am sure Nic will bring trademark nuance to each different role.
I like Nick in thrillers with a lot of action in his films. Anyway, he's good in all kinds of films he does. I hope, too for another National Treasure 3. I love the other two very much. They were the films I really got hooked onto Nick then. I want to know what was on page 46 in the last part of the film of National Treasure: Book Of Secrets.
NT1 and NT2 are really great movies, and two of my favorites! But, may I correct you, (I hope, you don`t mind?), Nancy, in the second part it`s actually page 47! ^^ And, I hope, they will begin shooting for the 3rd part soon, as, I`m sure, we all want to know, what`s on that page!^^

Actually, IMDB has made an error in putting Nicolas Cage as the Director. The OP has clearly put up the link stating that Willaim Friedkin will be Directing I AM WRATH.
Thanks, clc! As I saw Nic`s name on it, I was wondering myself, as I thought, William Friedkin would direct! Glad, he still does! Otherwise, I guess, we would have read about that change somewhere!
