Nicolas Cage's fight for justice has come out fruitful. The actor has just received apologies from two different tabloids for false stories published about him, one being stalking and another being tax evasion.
Star Magazine has issued apology for claiming Cage followed around his young "The Frozen Ground" co-star Vanessa Hudgens. "In a story in the Sept. 17 issue, 'Creepy Cage Stalked His Costar,' we erroneously reported that Nicolas Cage had 'unnerved' High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens with his behavior on the set of their new thriller, The Frozen Ground," the mag began.
"Nic and Vanessa denied that any of the reported events occurred, and they confirmed that they're on excellent terms and are eagerly looking forward to the Nov. 30 release of their film. We apologize to Mr. Cage for the error and are happy to set the record straight."
Meanwhile, Cage not only gets an apology for false allegations of tax evasion from Daily Mail online but also undisclosed damages. "My client has secured a complete vindication of his reputation following the publication of a categoric retraction by the MailOnline for what they immediately acknowledged was a completely unfounded and defamatory allegation of tax evasion," Cage's lawyer Paul Tweed said in a statement.
"While my client acknowledges the MailOnline's prompt apology, which was one of the quickest that I have negotiated in recent times, together with the payment of undisclosed damages and his legal costs, he nonetheless remains very concerned that such a false and outrageous headline should have been published in the first place."
It is unbelieveable, that those pages needs those lies, to get more attention! Luckily, Nic reacted as fast as possible, to get those false rumours straight, and proof them wrong! I read a few of those articles during the past days, and can`t believe, that they dare to write those things, although they know very well, that they lie on purpose! I, too, am sick and tired of those tabloid lies, Lady T.! Thanks for posting it!

Good for Nick for fighting back against those tabloids. He has had so many problems with these people lately. I would not want to be in show business. Private lives are difficult to keep private.
I'm not really surprised by this. People have always been making up stupid bullswat about Nic, whether it's critics, tabloids, or various internet dung-flingers (remember the whole vampire nonsense a little while back?). Still, it's comforting knowing that Nic managed to prove his innocence.
The contents of The Daily Fail have long since lost their right to be considered journalism - but it beggars belief that such tosh as this ever gets published in the first place, the pure fabrication and it is just fake gutter slime... so sad that Nic had to be dealing with this AT ALL but glad that he did about time he had an apology from someone, i hope it goes some way towards the apology he is long overdue for many press outlets and their bulls*** over the years. To the editor of the Mail: How Do You Sleep At Night?
Good job Nic has dedicated fans who can see through this stuff so easily!
