Hi, thanks for letting me join this amazing forum.. cant believe Ive just found it. Have been a Cage fan since I seen Peggy Sue Got Married, even although kind of a chick flick I totally love it Would say he has been my number 1 actor though since The Rock, Con Air and Face/Off came out, I do like most of his movies even the so called bad ones like The Wicker Man, I mean 3.6 on IMDb whats that about? I have the original on dvd and actually much prefer Cage's re-make to Edward Woodward's version, and I don't think its just my Nic bias coming into play. I have 45 of his movies on DVD/Blu-ray, the latest to my collection being Valley Girl (had to get on import as its not available in the UK), hadn't seen this movie before and its pretty good, am loving the 80s vibe and Cage is cool Anyway have loads to check out on here so thanks again for letting me in.
I know right? I prefer the new version too. I thought the original was silly but it was not without its charm. Chick flicks are good good to see you hope you like it here!
Welcome, Bruce, always glad to meet a Nic fan. I hope you enjoy looking around, we have lots of awesome interviews and video clips, pictures, etc, it will take you awhile! I never saw Pegg Sue till well into my Nic movie collecting and I must say, although I expected to enjoy it, I was surprised at how much I did! I think it is vastly underrated in his filmography, it seems to not get much discussion, except when people want to make fun of his voice. I loved it and found Nic's performance quite moving, actually. Glad you like it here.
Thanks for the warm welcome Enzo, Lady Trueheart and Lady Roxanne watched Peggy Sue today because speaking about it put me in the mood. I like his voice in it, thought it was perfect for Charlie and great acting. Is very moving, especially the very last scene at the end (better not say as would spoil it if anyone hadnt seen it before).
