Highland Film Group is handling worldwide sales for the crime thriller about two corrupt cops.
The Highland Film Group (HFG) film centers on two bad cops who discover a strangely hidden and guarded safe filled with mysterious contents. The duo's desire for the possessions of the safe throws them into a deadly well of corruption leaving them fighting for their lives and questioning their every move.
HFG'sArianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier, who are executive producing, will be handling worldwide sales at the market in Cannes.
Ben Brewer and Adam Hirsch are co-writing the script. MollyHasselland Braxton Pope are producing while Mike Nilonwill executive produce. The Trust is a Hassell Free Production in association with Electric Shadow Fund, which is providing financing.
Cage was most recently seen in David Gordon Green's Joe and thriller Frozen Ground. He's repped by CAA, Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Nilon Entertainment and Bloom Hergott.

Huston, who starred on Boardwalk Empire, was most recently seen in American Hustle and Kill Your Darlings. He's represented by UTA.
HFG’s slate also includes Kevin Connolly's The Wright Girls; Barely Lethal, starring HaileeSteinfeld, Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba; and Your Right Mind, starring Katherine Heigland Ben Barnes.
Nicolas Cage and Jack Huston will star in The Trust, a crime thriller to be directed by music video directors Alex and Ben Brewer.
This sounds good, doesn't it? I certainly am intrigued by the brief description. Don't see anything about a filming date though, wonder where this fits in with the other movies that have with Nic's name attached. Sounds like a tense thriller for sure.
